As This Is A Running Terminal, Work May Have To Be Carried Out Depending Upon Availability Of The Area. Hence, The Contractor Shall Coordinate And Carry Out The Work Accordingly. 4. At The Time Of Commissioning Of The Job, The Contractor Shall Provide Personal Protective Equipments Like Hand Gloves, Helmets, Safety Shoes, Safety Belts Etc To All The Workmen Employed By Him And During Monsoon The Contractor Should Provide Rain Coat, Cap, Gumboot Etc To The Workmen. 5. Contractor And His Workmen Shall Be Governed By The Safety Requirements That Are In Vogue Or May Be Implemented From Time To Time. 6. The Contractor Will Be Required To Take Photo Passes For Himself And For The Workmen Employed By Him While Working Inside The Depot For Security Reasons. For Preparation Of The Said Passes, Contractor Has To Produce Required Number Of The Copies Of The Photographs Of His Workmen, Police Verification Certificate, Esic And Pf Compliance Certification Statement As Required By The Respective Authorities, Obtaining Labour Licence And Complying With Its Provisions.7. In Case, If The Contractor Either Fails To Carry Out Any Of The Jobs Mentioned Above, These Jobs Shall Be Carried Out Through Any Other Contractor At The Discretion Of Hpcl And Cost Incurred For The Same Shall Be Debited To The Contractor And Recovered From His Pending Bills Security Deposits. Contractor Has To Comply With All Applicable Rules And Regulations Pertaining To Minimum Wages, Safety, Epf, Esic, Insurance, Workmen Compensation Act, Contract Labour Act Etc. 9. The Normal Working Hours Are From 0830 Hrs To 1700 Hrs. However, The Contractor May Have To Extend The Working Hours On Weekdays And Holidays As Per The Exigencies Of The Job.
