Rate To Include Dressing The Sides And Bottom, Bailing Out Of Water If Encountered, Shoring, Strutting As Required As Per Site Condition, Backfilling After The Construction Of Foundation, Trenches/Plinth Beam Etc. Compacting By The Side Of The Foundation Including Spreading, Watering And Compaction And Stacking The Excavated Debris And Stack Measurement Shall Be Taken Applying 50% Deduction For Voids; Handling And Liftings And Transportation Inside The Plant Boundary, As Directed By The Hpcl Engineer In Charge, Complete. The Measurement Of The Excavation Would Be Based On Actual Depth Of Excavation With Applicable Rate For Different Depths. Excavation In Hard Rock Upto 1.5 Mt Blasting Will Not Be Permitted. Scope Includes Obtaining Approval From Mining Department/Applicable Departments, Sply And Layg Of Pcc, Supplying And Laying Plain Cement Concrete Of Volumetric Mix 1:2:4 1 Cement: 2 Sand: 4 Coarse Aggregatesgrade Concrete With 20 Mm Downgraded Coarse Aggregate For Aprons, Pits, Drains, Bed Blocks For Grouting Y/U Angles Etc In Substructure. Including Shuttering If Required In Foundation, Screed, Aprons, Pits, Drains, Steps, Etc., At All Level As Per Drawings, Specifications And Instruction Of Engineer. Concrete Cubes Tested On 28 Days Shall Give A Result Meeting M-15 Requirements Of Is 456, Sply Const Of Brick Masonry, Providing And Constructing Brick Masonry Sub-Structure In Cm 1:6 Using 35B Class Bricks Of Minimum Compressive Strength 35 Kg/Sq.Cm And Conforming To Is: 1077-1986 Including Providing All Openings And Projections As Per The Drawing, Raking The Joints To 1 Cm Deep, Scaffolding, Soaking Of Bricks Prior To Use And Curing Etc Complete As Per Specifications. Measurement Of Masonry Will Be Based On Actual Thickness Of Wall Constructed. Abrick For Masonry In Foundation, Walls And Other Location Shall Be Hand Or Machine Moulded And Made From Suitable Soil And Kiln Burnt. They Shall Have Regular And Uniform Size And Colour, Sharp Straight And Right Angeled Edges And Deep Cherry Red Colour, Uniformity Well Burnt Throughout But Not Over Burnt. They Shall Have Smooth Rectangular Faces With Pallet Sides And Sharp Corners, Providing 12 Mm Of Plastering, Providing And Laying 12Mm Thick Smooth Cement Plastering In 1:4 Cm In Single Coat To All The Interior Walls Including Providing Necessary Scaffolding, Chicken Wire Mesh At All Joints Of Brick And Concrete Surfaces With A Minimum Overlap Of 150 Mm In All Directions And Additional Thickness If Required To Achieve Perfect Line And Level, Groove Cutting Without Any Extra Cost
